I don't know what it is about the colour black, but it seems to bring a sophisticated edge to every outfit. Of course, this probably has something to do with black being 'slimming', but there's definitely more to it than that. I don't know whether it's because it lends an automatic grunge aspect whilst looking polished at the same time?
Either way, currently I'm obsessed with all black outfits. Black on black on black (on black on black). Often mocked by friends, 'Are you going to a funeral?' being the usual response to my attire, I think that the fluidity of the black on black approach is nothing but flawless minimalism at its best.
